ALLIX DENNIS

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Allix previously was an owner/member with the M Financial Group, a rigorously vetted co-op of some of the highest-producing financial companies in the country. Not only was he consistently a top-performer, he was also in charge of the business’ finances.

In 2018, he formed Colter-Dennis, joining Austin-based Lion Street Financial, another highly selective, invite-only group, which acted as broker. (Lion Street Financial has since been acquired by Integrity Marketing Group, the leading independent distributor of tech-driven life and health insurance products, adding even more options for Colter-Dennis clients.)

Previously, he spent more than 10 years with New York Life Insurance Co. where he was an award-winning member of the Chairman’s Council, a group of the company’s most successful agents, who form the pillar of company culture. Allix is also a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in economics.

Sonya Patenaude

My name is Sonya Patenaude, and I am the Senior Case Manager for Mr. Allix Dennis. I have worked at Lion Street and with Allix for four years now. I have worked in the life insurance/annuity/securities business for over 30 years in marketing. and managerial roles. I used to be life insurance and securities licensed and discovered I am much happier in a supporting role to the producer.

Brandon heruth

Prior to joining Lion Street, Brandon has wholesaled life products on the carrier side for almost 20 years. He specializes in advanced case design and detailed product analytics. During his time in the industry, Brandon has seen many changes to the life products and features available in the marketplace. “My goal is to make sure financial professionals are educated on all of the products and riders that are available to meet their clients needs,” says Brandon. “Having an array of products to choose from is a great thing as each client is unique and has different goals.” Brandon added, “however, it can be a bit overwhelming trying to understand all that is available.” He is just one of the many tools and resources that Lion Street has available to help meet your clients needs and grow your practice. “We all learn and grow together, and I love being able to help protect the financial future of those we serve.”

Katie Goodnight

Having more than 13 years of industry experience, Katie is a qualified underwriter providing appropriate expectations to financial advisors and their clients. Katie helps identify insurable risks, obtain necessary information to complete underwriting, provide rate class estimates based on comparing multiple carrier guidelines, and collaborate with case design to meet the unique planning needs for their clients.
